Every time I want my duas accepted, I call Him by these names, Al-Fattah —opener of closed doors As-Sami — the One who listens, Al-Mujib — the One who responds Al-Wahhab — the One who gives. And every single time… He answers. He accepts my duas. Alhmdulillah.
In English we say; “let’s sit together have endless talk and call it a date?”. But in Urdu we say; “dil me chupa har lafz aankh se bayaan kar paoge kya? suraj yahan bhi dhal gaya, tum ek fursat bhari shaam sath la paoge kya?”.
In English we say: “Listen to the eyes; they have much to say.” But in Urdu we say:- “koi lafzon ke liye baitha raha, kisi ne aankhein padh li.”
“milna tha ittifaq bichhadna naseeb tha, wo utna duur ho gaya jitna qareeb tha.”
In English we say, “Don't make promises you can't keep,” But in Urdu Waseem Barelvi said, “Yeh soch kar koi ehad-e-wafa karo humse, Hum ek waade PE umrein guzar dete hai.”
“Kabhi kabhi alfaaz nahi hote kafiyat bayan karne ko, Bas Dil karta hai Ghalib, koi samajh le, sambhal le, samaet le”.
“Khamoshi tum samajh nahi rahe, alfaaz ab bachey nahin.”
”kya kaha apnoo se umeed rakhte ho, nadaan ho qissa_e_ Yousuf nahi suna hai shayad”
zindagi ke mele mai chehre toh lakhon aane wale hai, sham dhalte he wo sare laut jaane wale hai ”

Ye ek baat toh sach hai:• “jo dil mein baste hai, wo dil ka haal nahi samjhte hai.”
