We’ve had three months of turmoil simply because I reported to Willy Rice that he had someone serving as a deacon who had a predatorial past. I’ve been charged with acting politically even though I did exactly what the SBC says we should do. This serves as my final thread.

When will the SBC consider the possibility of state conv hubs? Messengers attend their perspective state hub, given credentials, participate in the livestream and cast votes. These are recorded onsite and reported in real-time. Surely this is feasible in some manner?

I’m not a part of the CBN, but @jdgreear allowing @DGrantGaines’s disparaging of many Southern Baptists from the platform to stand was appalling. JD called out actions from the floor yesterday that were far more benign. Apparently, “provoking to love” was only for yesterday.

#SBC21 Resolution 1 was an argument for Resolution 2 (the far more controversial one) as written (not naming CRT/I). Resolution Committee leadership stated that there was a strategic order to the resolutions. A good one word amendment to resolution 1 was rejected by Resolution

The reason I have so adamantly opposed CRT is because it fundamentally undermines the gospel. So, by opposing CRT, I am actually working to preserve and proclaim the gospel.
