One of the most important things you can do every year is clean your outdoor HVAC condenser. Turn off the equipment at the thermostat, take a hose at a 45-degree angle to the condenser and wash off the dirt and debris. Keeps the unit running smoother and saves money.

Pro-tip: rinse off your AC condenser a couple of times each summer (and before your home inspection). It will perform much better and can help prolong its life. The below photo is from today’s home inspection.

HVAC systems have air filters that can become clogged with dirt, hair & dust. A dirty condenser coil outside can also contribute to higher temperatures when not at peak performance. Make sure your system is clean for maximum efficiency & a cooler house during hotter days.
