Throw Back Thursday. It's been a while. Are you aware of an MP's "roving surgery"? We weren't until H was invited by @katrinamurray71 to join her team and ensure people who are housebound or unable to attend a surgery are still able to raise issues or concerns.
➡️ Tue evening - guest speaker for VANL in @ncanarkshire ➡️ Wed - guest speaker at a pilot scheme for @nlcpeople. This was so successful that the plan is to roll it out to every high school ➡️ Thurs evening - a networking event at @ShowcaseCinemas. Thanks to Ciaran & Andrew

H attended her 1st event as @scotgov Saltire Award Ambassador for VANL today. Wearing the Ambassador hoodie that she designed. 1st task was to cover the sign-in desk where she welcomed everyone. Event encouraged networking for charities & businesses in the @nlcpeople Council area
Another milestone, officially a teenager. This little lady turned 13 today. Mum and Dad are so proud of everything you've achieved, half your life volunteering, benefiting others. So excited to see what comes next.
As part of her role as The @scotgov Saltire Award Ambassador Heather had to undertake training. This included Online Safety, delighted to say she received 100% marks. Heather also spent a considerable amount of time designing the Ambassador hoodie. Can't wait to wear it.
It's finally official. Heather is the first VANL Saltire Award Ambassador. She was the youngest person ever to achieve the Saltire Summit Award last year. Really looking forward to promoting the benefits of volunteering. @benshephard #humblehero @antanddec #winner
