booktwt people, what book would you recommend to get out of a reading slump?
reading slump sucks, guys!!! i can’t even touch a book 😭
@faeirylib my go to is always something that's completely opposite of what I'm reading For me, since I'm mainly a scifi and fantasy reader, I go read a romance or some sort of cozy novel
@faeirylib honestly when im in a slump i just read books from my childhood that made me fall in love with reading (the story of tracy beaker, lottie project, the giraffe the pelican and me, war horse, etc.)
@faeirylib The predator and The reaper (first two books of darkverse series)
@faeirylib The Night Circus is a difficult read, but I've been slowly working my way through it, and i feel like almost anyone can read it, as it's not part of a series, and is just a one off story, that is incredibly well written.
@faeirylib The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams!!><
@faeirylib Twisted series are good to get out of a reading slump
@faeirylib any thriller/cozy mystery (a murder most royal)
@faeirylib Chess Story by Stefan Zweig or Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan.
@faeirylib Frankie! it helped me to get out of a reading slump, it's very light and short novel, but very touching and funny 🤍
@faeirylib find a super easy book to read ( light themes only !! ) that u can easily fly by 🙆🏻♀️🩷
@faeirylib The Naturals series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, it's a 4 book series and got me out of a 9 month reading slump
@faeirylib prision healer or fable at the end of the world
@faeirylib Haunting Adeline if your into dark romamce and smut lol
@faeirylib the first time i was in a slump the book that got me out was Fractured Freedom by Shain Rose and it became one of my favorite book and the second time it was Mile High by Liz Tomforde
