As the first state Rep. openly on the autism spectrum, it is important to me that we fairly compensate our direct support professionals, so they can continue to provide life saving care to folks who need it. I am calling on all my colleagues to join me in this fight.
Today self-advocates, families, direct support professionals (DSP), service providers, & state legislators gathered in the Capitol Rotunda urging the General Assembly to add **$430 million to the State budget for DSP wages. We need $430 million!
