i've asked a lot of allos to describe attraction/desire to me at various points, and never once have i gotten the same answer. and yet, many of them seem to believe that what they feel is universal. and because they believe it's universal, they misunderstand ace/aro experiences.
We're working with UEL to gather data on quality of life for trans/GNC people. The survey has run since 2016, and will monitor changes in quality of life over time. Every response helps us do better work to support the trans community. Get involved: ow.ly/KnXY50KFnaY
And then once you get into mental health, eugenics, racism, and bio-essentialism have a field day bc there are still biases that manifest into political scapegoating and institutional violence where deliberate misdiagnoses are given to oppressed populations.
