Technology makes crazy things possible. Here are ORION sunshades, a 2020 invention, sitting next to an accordion sunshade (a manual sunshade invented in 1910). Imagine: an automated sunshade that takes up less than 1/3 of the storage space.

Today we took our prototypes to meet with the first roadshow customer, a major dealership in southern part of WA (we had no idea, until we arrived at their massive car yard!). It is great to establish new relationships before launching this novel product into the market!

95 percent of typical car's life time is spent being parked. Things like fuel, maintenance, and accessories we bought are for the remaining 5% driving time. Except for interior protection device like sunshade. It is useful during that 95% parking time!

Fun fact: In a 2016 census, approximately 7.2 million people in Australia commuted to work by private car. 85% did not share with anyone. Most of these cars end up outdoor, baking under the sun for 40+ hours a week, or hundreds of hours per year. No escaping the sun!
