My last day working for the NHS was on 29 December. I moved to UAE last 2 Jan to start a new job. I’m so blessed to have met these people in my induction week. We have become friends from the beginning. Oh, we’re all from the UK and we all used to work for the NHS. #newleaf

I’m so glad to be leaving this country soon. Excited for the opportunity to work in UAE. 🇦🇪 I will be making the big move next month. ✈️ I will be saying goodbye to the NHS after 7 years and 2 months of working in the institution. 🏥 @NurseSayNO @NHSMillion

How in the world does this Tory government think nurses can feed their families with our current salary? No wonder there’s growing number of nurses relying on food banks. Nurses are struggling to keep their head above water with the current inflation. A 5% increase is a PAYCUT!

2/2 My groceries cost around £60/week. I have other bills to pay every month (mobile phone bill) & subscriptions (RCN, Netflix, Spotify). Annual fees with NMC which over a hundred pounds. I’m a nurse working for the NHS.

1/2 London is becoming too expensive for me. I can’t afford it anymore. My flat is £850/month shared with 3 others. I live in Zone 3. I work 4 days/week. I have to take 2 buses or train & bus to get to work. Breakfast costs £3 & lunch costs £6 at the hospital.
