Simply put, without artists performing, the live sector will collapse. the FAC is calling for the industry to recognise the cost of touring crisis that artists are facing. There’s no point keeping venues open if artists can’t afford to perform in them. #supportingartists

The government has responded to the @CommonsCMS recommendations for the grassroots live sector, and has agreed that the industry should deliver a blanket levy on arena tickets. This would offer much-needed support to artists, promoters & venues. We welcome this news.
