1/In #FND , chronic pain & PTSD it seems like threat detection areas of the brain are almost frozen in time Even though the triggering event i.e injury, accident or psychological trauma are over, these deep unconscious areas of the brain are convinced they are still taking place

To re-open 3 miles of track to Portishead, the local council had to complete a 79,187 page long planning application. If printed out, that's 14.6 miles of paper (4 1/2 times the line itself!). Then they had to wait 3 years for approval. Yet now this project may be scrapped.🧵
