I feel like the conversation around school leavers lacking IT skills at the moment was one many of us predicted when the ICT GCSE was scrapped. There's no such thing as a digital native. If anything, much of the last year has cemented this for me.

Massive thanks for this @adamboxer1. I recorded a video lesson for my Year 11s today in preparation for tomorrow and I found myself using lots of these tips throughout. Hopefully they'll see the benefits tomorrow!

Stop calling them 'teacher' predicted grades. They are CENTRE assessed grades. The moderation involved was rigorous from teacher-head of department-SLT and many schools, including mine, were cautious for fear of a government algorithm scenario. A government preparing a scapegoat.
