I was trying to describe an ugly shirt I had in high school and went "oh it was denim with lace sleeves" and my poor boyfriend had never heard of lace and was convinced I meant the sleeves were made of shoelaces 😭

You'd honestly think I had a job with my current workload, one application needs a whitepage redesigned for a French audience, one needs a till UI prototype, someone needs a reedit of a fake bmw ad and another asked for a 15minute presentation advocating for interaction design

I can't sleep and I've just uncovered the memory of the like year as a kid where I was suddenly obsessed with mini cooper cars, especially if they had a union jack roof (cries in Scottish) and I had a bunch of toys and models of them and was determined to drive one???

It's weird how much I enjoy untangling stuff, I just spent half an hour untangling like 20+ft of Christmas lights and it feels like scratching an itch in my brain
