It was always predictable. Slowly at first. Just the odd 'exceptional' event. But soon, default. We need an interdisplinary review of the trajectory here. Challenging of course when some policymakers think this is the direction to go in 🤦🏼‍♂️

To become a living space, the internet must first develop a concept of identity. Today we have servers (IP addresses) at the bottom - we have to replace those somehow with people.

This looks like it produces a global (hash) database of people's iris scans (for "fairness"), and waves away the implications by saying "we deleted the scans!" Yeah, but you save the *hashes* produced by the scans. Hashes that match *future* scans. Don't catalogue eyeballs.

@gordonbrander (i've only read the summary but) i'm attempting to build an identity/reputation/credential system that is designed NOT to be fixed or global, but rather a fluid & evolutionary system that encourages ditching failing efforts & allowing many parallel or nested experiments
