Seeing loads of DJs glorify drugs to seem cool or in with the fans makes me sick 🤢 My biggest advice to all the upcoming producers and DJs is to stay sober :) Over the past 2 month of being sober I’ve made more music than I have in 3 years :) Im so motivated and much happier ❤️

There is a definitely a space for it. However, leveraging the support of tracks of DJs is where something like this can be done. Making tracks visible to stream for fans and buy for other DJs from sets would lead to better monetisation of music IMO.

This is really sad news. Companies like Aslice have tried to bring real change to the music industry and redistribute value to artists. They have kept money within the scene and not just siphoned it to VCs or investors that leach off of the craft.
