An interesting write-up on the slew of retractions at Journal of Consumer Research in recent years. Often in fraud cases, coauthors are innocent victims but journals' lack of transparency can make it difficult to know who to trust following a retraction. researchgate.net/publication/36…
How are #consumers influenced by country-of-origin labels? This study by @georgios_h et al. finds that the majority of such labels on product packages are indeed noticed by consumers, but their effects are conditional on exceeding a minimum attention time.

Top journals are increasingly sceptical toward primary-data & overly welcoming of secondary-data papers. Another needless bias in an already biased process. Judge data on their merits; one's secondary data are another's primary ones after all @JIBSupdateslink.springer.com/article/10.105…
