I’m all for training and examination of our clergy. I’m all for being prepared to face the hard things. But surprising people with a horrifying text for an already stressful exam? I don’t think that’s the best way. #PCUSA

So, this is gonna sound cynical but...what seat at the table? We aren't that BIG for these companies to really listen to us if we're investing, so why not stop investing because it's the right thing to do? These "table seats" haven't done anything YET, so... #GA225

You can respect the work of MRTI and still move for faster, bigger action-- they originally suggested passing their report with ENV-07, which called for categorical divestment. justiceunbound.org/author/ffpcusa… #ga225

I met Jed on a PHP trip to Peru in 2014. He took us to see the glaciers that supply Lima, a desert city of 8 mill, with freshwater. This is what was left of them then... this is why we're not moving fast enough. #ga225

MRTI suggested passing ENV-07 alongside their report, but since that didn't happen in committee, the next best thing we can do is amend ENV-09 to speed up our response to the climate crisis. Thanks for your hard work, #ga225!
