TGUP is about to start its first project in Madagascar! We will build a playground for emotionally abused students. The playground will feature safe & durable equipment, including swings, a slide, a playhouse, & traditional Malagasy games such as fanorona & katro. #madagascar

🎉 Happy National Disability Independence Day! Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, & achievements of the disability community! TGUP recently completed a complete renovation for the Irigithathi school in Kenya - the only school of its kind to offer integrated education.
Nkono Primary has 1,229 students & 14 teachers. There were 7 classrooms & an admin office. The 4 nursery classes took place in a nearby church. The primary grades had an average class size of 182. This project funded a new building with two classrooms. Check out the before/after.
Thanks to a very generous donor, TGUP is funding an 80' borehole for the 676 students at Balita School in #Uganda. Students currently collect water from a borehole 3km away. Many of the special needs students are visually impaired making accessing water even more challenging.

As part of #MHD2025 World Menstrual Hygiene Day and ##PeriodFriendlyWorld, TGUP's partner in Kenya distributed 647 kits of Save a Girl washable, reusable sanitary supplies. The girls came from nearby villages to celebrate the day.
