The Core Web Vitals now officially has a new member: INP (interaction to next paint) replaces FID. We announced this change in January, and have been reporting on INP in Google Search Console since last June. support.google.com/webmasters/ans…
As a reminder, we recommend site owners achieve good Core Web Vitals for success with Search and to ensure a great user experience generally. This, along with other page experience aspects, aligns with what our core ranking systems seek to reward. developers.google.com/search/docs/ap…
Search Console now includes INP as a first-class element in the Core Web Vitals report. If you're curious what users have been seeing in terms of INP, check out the report there (and keep in mind that the report is based on field data). ➡️ search.google.com/search-console…
@googlesearchc As a reminder, do opposite of everything that Google tells us.
I still like to point out that this INP metric warning is extremely unfair to put onto publishers. Google.com is now failing CWV. I pointed this out to @searchliaison recently. I think it is confusing to have a metric being policed by Google who can’t even pass. @JohnMu
@googlesearchc And we users recommend Google to filter away ALL websites with ads when we search. For they make the web-pages less user-friendly to read.
@googlesearchc I miss the good old days when we could spend Fridays with @JohnMu & get educated about seo during office hours. Then we went to speed office hours. Wait? Can you say that again more slowly? Or I have a question! Crickets. Now: major updates! Crickets. Crickets.🦗🦗🦗
@googlesearchc If a few pages CWVs are not "good" does that give a negative ranking signal for the entire domain or just that page?
@googlesearchc And we users also recommend Google to add an option where we can REMOVE the page rank function, so that we can find QUALITY pages that are NOT popular. Most popular pages are of low quality and filled with ads.
@googlesearchc How to make this things gone? In keyword => Timnas4d As you can see http://66.96.237.28/etpt/css/timnas4d/ this one is ranking. And then he use AMP for "Helpfull" even with desktop mode the website is empty or useless
@googlesearchc A complete waste of time, because so much at the top positions will be full of "people also ask", ads, youtube videos, related searches. It's better to devote yourself to something else. Google no longer has any use to sites and consequently to users
