Pathetic card on Sunday for the Sunland Derby. Most races have only six entries. The Derby field is so so. Not sure why the race was moved up several weeks, But the Grade 3 status may be in peril.

Lost $23 on opening day at Santa Anita. A loss of $112 for the year. Opening day is closing day for me. Will begin 2024 season in mid January. Happy New Year!

Has Brad Cox offered any explanation as to why all of his entries were scratched from tonight's Remington Park card. It is my understanding they were all on the ground and shipped out.
