I could not agree more with Carl Parslow’s piece in the JEP today. He’s spot on. I don’t always agree with him. It is just such a logical and sensible thing to do. The Q is why it isn’t happening.

Marvellous invention the Find My thing. I’ve realised just how much I move around trying to find one AirPod. I found it in my office after doing the whole garden 😁yay added a lot of steps but didn’t have my watch on 😬

One duckling today, which seems to be quacking for its siblings, we have not seen any for a few days. Hoping the others are OK and they are just growing up and becoming more independent.

The Islander doing its GSY - St Malo, we see more ferries now than before with JSY routes not going via GSY they tend to go the east route.

Ducklings, mum duck didn’t appear but the ducklings were here all afternoon, a sort of pond spa, trips to refuel and plop back in, swimming under and around the filter output. They seemed to be having a wonderful time.

As access to our beach was impossible we ventured thru the parishes to Greve my it does take a long time now it’s like a 20mph F1 track with all its chicanery! Very nice swim for 30 mins and back home. Busy down there. I’ve also been out to the SE.

Tip! If you are sending offspring off to uni for the first time soon, probably not a good idea to read / listen to The Daughter TM Logan If your anxious now, you’ll be wrecked just in the first few chapters 🤭. It’s a great book.

Alarm calls by the not so small Ducklings mother MIA didn’t stop them eating and swimming. Defo not all females as some quack and some don’t. I hide behind shrubs so not to scare them off.

Thinking of waste. JT could stop using 4 sheets of paper for their bills & using coloured ink. That applies to their emailed bills too. Lessen energy use by not sending rubbish emails would also help. Make it always opt in subscription.
