Our symposium introduced by @SuzAdlof. Comparing DLD vs dyslexia identification and services. Many potential gaps to fall through in DLD. Identification relies on someone noticing difficulties, asking 'could it be language?' and then referring to SLT/P services.

A study by Lennox et al shows that the RAPT missed between 11 and 21% of monolingual students performing below expectations in oral narrative. My take on that is that the RAPT is not a good measure of Oral discourse nor is it Aus nor is it diagnostic. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29439270/
