How I wasted $30 and 5 hours chasing the perfect LinkedIn headshot 🤦♂️ As I was rebuilding my LinkedIn profile, I fell for the AI photoshoot hype. Their pitch was simple: → Save $100+ vs professional photographers → Skip the studio visit hassle First challenge: Upload 10 photos meeting their strict rules: → Clear face lighting → Plain background → Front-facing pos → No harsh shadows Let me tell you: I've never been that frustrated with a website. 3 hours searching my entire photo library ✘ Ended up taking 7 desperate selfies at home 😂 After 1 hour waiting for results... CONFUSED is an understatement. This guy looked like my slightly-off clone 😂 End result? Used a regular photo from my camera roll 😂 Bottom line: Everyone says AI will replace us all. But in 2025, I still see AI as a tool for specialists to level up, not replace them entirely. At least we had a good laugh with my partner at home on some of those photos haha!
