    @hackaday BC107 - just because of the metal capsule makes it work as a perfekt temperatur sensor with 0.2C precision besides of being a npn transistor.

    @hackaday The one I usually choose when I need a switch with no specific restrictions, is 2N7002. The first one I used more than 30 years ago when I was a kid, was BC547.

    @hackaday 2N3904/MMBT3904 along with 2N3906/MMBT3906 has been my go-to for years...<starts doing the math>...decades! I gotta find something different so people won't be calling me "boomer" 😀

    @hackaday SI2300 and the likes. Powerful little bastards. SI2365 because you could get a full reel for $3 at mouser at one point. IRFS7530 Different scale, but again PLB. Please ensure that at no point in time current exceeds 1.45kA.
