@hackaday Twitter is down so no one will see our 55-gallon drum
@hackaday 3-in-1 oil is what most folks really want... they just don't know it.
@hackaday nah - loosens rusted parts, it basically frees sticky mechanisms, also protects metal against rust can wipe metal with it to prevent rust (like on boats)
@hackaday It does everything. but lubricate. Worth mentioning that it cleans so well people think it does.
@hackaday I still sometimes wonder if PAM antistick spray used for cooking comes from the same factories. :-)
@hackaday Ever use Wurth HHS-K? The stuff sprays on thin like WD but thickens up to a grease. Perfect for getting in things like door hinges. Like magic.
@hackaday WD-40 is a great lubricant/coolant for endmills when machining aluminum.
@hackaday Perhaps, but then again it’s not ideally used as a body spray but does the job for me.
@hackaday But can you mix it with anything to get ghetto 2 stroke fuel? Like X parts WD-40, Y parts 4 stroke fuel, and Z parts rice bran oil. 1:40:1 is my guess...
@hackaday Visitors are always surprised when my doors don’t squeak. “Silicone Lubricant” I tell them. It’s amazing what happens when you actually LUBRICATE things! 😂
@hackaday Might not be ideal but it works when it's the only thing in the truck
@hackaday Agree, way over rated, and the sprayer has been crap for years.
@hackaday It should come with more of those little red straw thingies that always get lost.
@hackaday But it’s ideal to lubricate the brain cells’ way out (if you huff it too much)
@hackaday It’s not a bad cutting lubricant for aluminum
@hackaday That's why I use Industrial grease in my laptop hinges
@hackaday What else am I supposed to use on my AI enabled waifu doll? .... I mean... door hinges.
@hackaday It's used for penetration.
@hackaday The instructions of the product claim that one of its uses is as lubricant.
@hackaday fine for suicide run / race run lubrication but there are better options there still.
@hackaday Works best to dispel moisture and free up rusty parts.
@hackaday we all know WD-40 is unstuck juice
