Today I'm featuring 2 of my fav writing #labdaptations .Writing for extensive periods of time isn't feasible for me; my hypermobile joints will dislocate & it is incredibly painful. BUT if I absolutely have to write, I make sure to increase the size of the object I'm holding.

A customer today asked me if there's an easier way for his disabled kid to charge his tablet (it doesn't support wireless charging). Actually plugging in the cable is difficult. Any disabled people have ideas. I sadly don't have his contact info but would love to have an answer.

top tip: if you need to tape your fingers together for stability/splinting but are allergic to tapes/don’t like the stickiness (hi) you can kt tape over a compression glove

July is #DisabilityPrideMonth, so I thought I'd share some more of my #labdaptations! This tube opener is great for individuals with limited hand strength/mobility or tremors. I use it to keep my joints from hyperextending, which helps to decrease pain.

can someone help me shop for "carpal tunnel wrist braces?" My neuro told me to get them for when I sleep to hold my wrists in a neutral position to give the nerves a chance to regenerate. But I don't really know what he's talking about? He said they're soft??

My hands have been locking up really bad at night so I found these cuties on Amazon. Very soft to the touch but feels like firm memory foam may be inside. I wanted something less restrictive than braces. I'll link them below 💜 #NEISvoid #DisabilityTwitter #arthritis

Changing bedsheets is really tricky with hand disability, tons of helpful replies here ❤ I have 2 sets of sheets so I don't have to do laundry on the same day because all the gripping is a big aggravator for nerve pain
