The number ten can be written as a palindrome in a base-ten #explodingdots way, but it uses negative "digits." Can ten be written as a palindrome avoiding negative numbers? Which two-digit numbers are exploding-dots-palindromes with positive digits?
Can every number be written as a palindrome in some #explodingdots way? (For instance, 21 equals one 100, negative eight 10s, and one 1.)
For a number N, let N* represent the number with its digits reversed. If a is a palindrome, prove that it is possible to write N in an #explodingdots way so that a x N* = (a x N)* (The product of a palindrome with a number and with its reverse are also reverses.)
Multiply a number and its reverse by 81. Prove that the two products can be written in an #explodingdots way so that they are the reverse of each other!
What a fabulous lad ... and fabulous Dad for allowing the true fun of learning thrive! And gotta love them dots! #explodingdots @GlobalMathProj @AIMathCommunity

I forgot to post this yesterday, thank you to my Algebra I DPLC for being open minded and seeing the possibilities with exploding dots math. Very excited to see what happens next. #explodingdots @globalmathproject instagr.am/p/DBzrawlxGab/
It's the final day of Global Math Week 2024. But math joy, of course, continues all year. Play with #explodingdots any time with all the resources here globalmathproject.org/exploding-dots/ Math truly does transcend and uplift. @GlobalMathProj @desmosclassroom @MathigonOrg @dhimath_india

Every number leaves the same remainder upon division by 9 as does the sum of its digits. E.g. 1213 is 7 more than a mult of 9, as is 1+2+1+3 87 is 6 more, as is 8+7 109 is 1 more, as is 1+0+9 Can you use #explodingdots to explain this rule? Global Math Week continues! #gmw2024
a) Show that x^3 - 1 is divisible by x -1. b) Is 48,682,904^906 - 1 a prime number? You can play with polynomial division here on @dhimath_india 's super widget: dhimath.org/explodingdots/… Global Math Week continues! globalmathproject.org #explodingdots #gmw2024

In this lopsided Δ each entry sum of the two numbers above, right number doubled. Interpret each row as a number the #explodingdots way. Select any two of these nmbrs and divide. Why is the result sure to be another nmbr in the list? (Other Δ patterns?) globalmathproject.org
