#Pompey current owners Tornante, an American company headed by former Disney chief executive Michael Eisner, have provided £35m funding (loans converted to capital), including £7m after 2022/23 accounts.
#Pompey wages rose £0.4m from £7.9m to £8.3m, just ahead of the club’s previous League One peak of £8.1m three years ago. In fact, they have held wages at around the £8m level for the past four years.
#Pompey £12.5m revenue is the highest since the club returned from administration and is up £3.6m (41%) compared to their first season after promotion to League One in 2017/18.
#Pompey loss slightly widened from £2.9m to £3.1m. In the decade since exiting administration, they have lost around £10m, thus averaging £1m a year. They basically broke-even in the first seven years, but then lost £10m in the last three years.
