The final talk on Urban GIS is delivered by @Dr_Carol_Ludwig & @S_Alvanides. They study the urban and social fabric of Nuremberg (from the 1940s). For their spatio-temporal analysis they combine morphological variables & socioeconomic data in maps & scanned documents #SpatHum2022
In their project @isadevos & @s_vanwambeke (et al.) test spatial methods to compare the course of an epidemic in the same & different cities (COVID as the most recent example), using the 1866 cholera epidemic in Brussels as case study during their presentation at #SpatHum2022
