Two males and a female Tufted Duck were spotted on Sunday at #kearsneyparks The Tufted Duck is a medium-sized diving duck - it's black on the head, neck, chest and back, and white on the sides with a small crest & yellow eyes. This striking male was photographed by Paul Yardley.

🐦There are many different types of bird at #kearsneyparks and this little beauty is a #Goldcrest which is one of the UK's smallest. Their thin beak is suited for picking insects out from between pine needles - and our friend here is certainly looking chirpy! 📷Steve Elks
