This morning I continued insisting that Premier Chris Minns stand up to the Commonwealth government and deny them access to NSW irrigation communities through water buy backs. It has been scientifically proven the Lower Lakes have always been estuarine and that's a fact.

Federal Water Minister, Tanya Plibersek, has pretty much admitted the MDBP in tatters. I'm calling on the NSW government to rule out any water buybacks by the Commonwealth Government. The Federal Government’s plan has failed & it's time to back the bush.

It's homelessness week and time to raise awareness of this critical problem that affects us all in some way. Housing is an essential human need, and the latest figures available to me show homelessness in Griffith have increased by 31 per cent in the five years to 2021.
