This day is UNPAID!!!! It’s not like we’re taking a paid day to go out for lunch. Have you not heard of cost of living??? We’re not giving up a day’s pay for no reason. We are doing this so that YOUR children have a higher quality education in the future.

An important thread. JK Rowling doesn’t care about journalistic integrity. She doesn’t care about sourcing or standards. She is invested in one narrative with zero regard for where or whom it comes from. Confirmation bias at its most basic.

The whole 'not letting pupils down by holding them to high expectations' seems like low expectations in disguise: inner-city pupils are forced to undergo army-style conditioning in order to achieve the same results as middle class schools #BritainsStrictestHeadmistress
