Please take the sequencing effort into account when discussing the prevalence of the VUI 202012/01. If other countries sequenced as DK/UK the picture would be very different. In DK we have sequenced 1500+ genomes pr. week since start November and found 9 until mid-December..

So. Much. This. I'm tech, I have a background in biosciences and know how hard this is; always consider the law of unintended consequence when doing tech/healthcare. Safest thing is to leave it to the professionals.

So teams for Linux is pretty much unusable. Need to do online drop-ins for users and don't want to disenfranchise a huge section of my userbase. Is there a vidconf system with a queue and waiting room for people to chat in, that has a useable Linux client?

Re LRT: almost none of the teaching I'll be doing in HPC next year will involve data staging unless it's a "first, catch your data" class. Reduce complexity in intro classes.

Some interesting 10nm/Intel rumours from Toutiao (so take with a grain of salt) Alder Lake-S will be Q4 2021 or Q1 2022 Rocket Lake-S is planned for Q4 2020 or Q1 2021 (been a few rumours they are targeting CES launch) RKL-S will top out at 8c for the i7 models....
