I want to try something a bit different... As someone who builds custom WordPress themes, it's often difficult to provide proof of concept to potential clients. The whole point is that the sites I make are bespoke and unique to the client.

When browsing job listings I've noticed some specific industry niches that come up occasionally – industries I'd love to have a hand in the shaping of their web presence.

But there's the classic Catch-22 of not being able to prove your knowledge and experience to get hired without first gaining experience of working within a specific industry.

So I want to run a series of Concept Themes, locally built sites of some of my favourite niches as a way of gaining industry-specific know-how of certain plugins and features and to show proof of concept to potential clients.
