This is essentially also my answer to why I don’t think $GOOGL Translate’s language learning feature will hurt $DUOL. Yes, big companies have more resources, but whether or not they actually want to build a new niche out with all those resources is another story.

This is a good thread to understand where and how $DUOL earns its money. Advertising and subscription revenue, two of which I view as the company’s most important, are growing fast. This represents a strong core business if it keeps up. $DUOL is a long term hold for me. 📈

Relatively small transaction, but the $NVO purchase on MTG’s latest filing really catches my eye here. 👀 $NVO at one of its lowest multiples, price essentially traded down to pre GLP-1 levels, all while the company has been consistently growing its business. Worth a thought.
