It helped me to realize the market has seasons. A system that crushes in winter might fall apart in summer. Once I understood this, I learned to recognize and adapt to the market’s new character.

Trading improved for me when I stopped getting attached to outcomes. A win or loss is out of my control. What I can control is following my rules. If I’m going to be upset, it should only be for breaking my rules, not for losing a trade.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t care about your P&L screenshots or prop pass certificates. Trading is a business. If you spend $10k to make $1k, that’s not a good business. Focus on profitability, not the flashy certificates.
