Left: Rishi Sunak says there are 2,000 more GPs than there were in 2019. Right: BBC Reality Check, "there are 823 fewer GPs now than there were in 2019."
@implausibleblog @Otto_English And they are delivering 10% more appointments! Hero’s!
@implausibleblog @RileyXav So he lies again. Why don’t people pick him up on this ??
@implausibleblog Oh dear please tell me Rishi Sunak didn't lie again, did he? Poor lamb always gets the facts wrong.
@implausibleblog Sunak’s pretending that 4k trainees are full-time, qualified GPs. He and Johnson promised 6k extra f/t, qualified GPs. Why won’t they tell the truth about their failure to deliver, just for once?
@implausibleblog Actually he didn't quite say that there were more GPs. He carefully said there were 2000 more "doctors working in General Practice" which I assume means GP registrars, FY2s etc. Seems to me he knows damn well there are not 2000 more GPs but wants to imply there are.
@implausibleblog It used to be a resignation issue if an MP was found to be a liar, whether that was in the HoCs or outside. How far we've fallen. How do they get away with lying all of the time?
@implausibleblog It was @RishiSunak who promised: "This government will have integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level. Trust is earned. And I will earn yours." Surely he wouldn’t be 'economical with the truth' otherwise who would ever believe a word he says!
@implausibleblog Could journalists please pick up on this and print the truth in capital letters on every front page.
@implausibleblog @FiveByFiveTimes This is the man who says we all need to stick with 'maths'
@implausibleblog He's a tory ergo he lies lies and lies some more, Johnson showed this tricksters how and they all now follow
@implausibleblog @RhonddaBryant For the Tories any lie will do. It doesn't matter if it's a lie, readers of comics like the Sun, Express and Mail will believe it. "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you need to concentrate on." - George W Bush.
@implausibleblog Sunak is a constant liar like Johnson…
@implausibleblog He is definitely getting asked that tomorrow
@implausibleblog More lies! That's all he can say because he cannot handle the truth!
@implausibleblog Dear Mr. Sunak, when are you going to stop lying?
@implausibleblog That is because a lot came out of retirement during lockdown, and while they have now either gone back into retirement (or died), the government has found it convenient to keep them on the books for some reason!
@implausibleblog Just need to accept the premise that all tory MPs or their spokesperson are lying. Almost everything they say is an untruth. This started in 2010 with the austerity lies (and the global financial crisis was all Labour's fault) and has snowballed since blowjob became PM in 2019.
@implausibleblog @RishiSunak can you please just tell the truth for once
@implausibleblog Sunak demonstrating, again, how abysmally poor he is at math!
@implausibleblog @RhonddaBryant Note he does not say ‘GPs’, but ‘doctors’. Has he ‘doctored’ the figures? This is a typical Boris Johnson lie. Have all Tories been trained in mendacity?
@implausibleblog Shows how the Govt plays with words. The promise was 6k extra full-time, qualified GPs. Mr non-delivery Cynical Sunak tries to deflect by including 4k trainee doctors in current numbers and ignoring what his Govt promised.
@implausibleblog Lies are never far from their lips
@implausibleblog Doing a Johnson again, eh, @RishiSunak ? Lying through your teeth! Didn't you promise "integrity?"
@implausibleblog Every day this shameless pm and his ministers come up with theses lies, why is it allowed to happen without scrutiny.
