David Cameron (unelected bureaucrat), "By making this attack, Iran has revealed to the world their true nature as the malign influence in the region" Sir Richard Dalton (former UK Ambassador to Iran), "Israel's attack was not only unlawful, it was a stupid thing to do, to attack the Iranian consulate" I'm really not a fan of Iran, fascinating history but their abuse of women's rights is awful, not to mention all the other bad stuff. But I wonder why David Cameron ignores the context which Sir Richard Dalton seems to have explained.
@implausibleblog Calling Iranian attack “a failure” not overly helpful language either in the situation 🙄
@implausibleblog Not a paper, news outlet, TV channel (including the BBC) saying a thing about Israel attacking the Iranian consulate, which was the catalyst for this incident. I'm no Iran supporter, but I find this odd, like collective gaslighting by the west.
@implausibleblog Disgraceful liars One doesn’t need to be a supporter of the Iranian regime to see the utter hypocrisy in this posturing Israel wanted to expand hostilities & did so with the West’s Co-operation Meanwhile it annexes Gaza under cover of this latest fabrication WW3 here we come
@implausibleblog @41below Cameron is unelected appointed by an unelected prime minister and answerable to no-one it seems. Sir Richard Dalton comes across with more authority than Cameron.
@implausibleblog David Cameron articulates his statements with clarity and specificity.
@implausibleblog I thought Consulates were supposed to provide consular services….🤔
@implausibleblog Thick as a plank, unfortunately.
@implausibleblog Did Cameron say anything when Israel attacked the embassy? Did that attack (or any of their other attacks) not reveal anything about ‘the true nature’ of the Israeli regime ‘as a malign influence in the region’? Did Cameron’s public reaction to it reveal anything about him?
@implausibleblog No mention of Isreal attack on diplomatic premises?
