This rule stipulates that if six or more separate dwellings are acquired in a single transaction, the purchase is treated as non-residential for Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) purposes Consequently, the company paid a reduced SDLT rate of approximately £167,920, instead of the higher rate that would apply to residential properties I guess that's above board 🤷♂️
