Unnacceptable UX on @SubstackInc app. Can't deselect text, extremely laggy overall, impossible to come back to a text you were reading after pressing back. Substack is 99% text, HTML solved this ages ago!!!

1. I read a moderate amount of philosophy of ethics, and my considered opinion is that the "big three" (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics) are all bad. All of them other than virtue ethics are *very* bad.

My resolve not to eat red meat (mammals, to be specific) has been slowly eroding for some time now, and I've officially decided to withdraw my commitment. I'll spend some time eating meat and thinking things through, see how it goes. Open to persuasion in all directions.
