Did not finish the app in June 😫 I did some surveys to validate the idea, and I broadened the scope for the app to be usable. But I've also put in my two weeks' notice, so soon I'll only have the app to work on. July will be better. #buildinpublic #failinpublic #appdev

If your product is global, your code better be, too. Date formats, timezones, text direction, special characters... it’s always the tiny details that break in production first.

Definitely seems like a good option to have a web version of your app, but if that's not possible, then having a landing page with links to the various app stores is the next best thing.

I think an underrated feature some apps have is the ability to turn on reduced notifications. Not every app has it. While push notifications are good for driving engagement, too many notifications become annoying. Just had to uninstall an app because of this.

I need help My simple app idea has grown into something else ( not released yet ). Each time I go for a run, I get a new feature idea. I know the first version does not have to be perfect, but how do you decide what makes the cut into v1 and what waits till later versions?
