Friendship is like any other relationship, so with that being said WORK ON IT. If you are willing to work on your relationship and put the work in for that. Why can’t you do the same for your friendship? People don’t value friendships nowadays, but be quick to work on a man.
I feel myself falling back into a space I fought to get out of. Yet I won’t do what I need to do to get away from there. Letting go of what it used to be is much harder than staying with what you know. You’ve devoted so much of yourself to others but what about YOU ?
the fight between what your heart wants vs what your mind needs. your heart wants love no matter where it’s from. your mind wants peace from what your heart won’t let go of. during that battle what’s needed for your mental health is to choose the need over the want.
If I go on a hairstylist page & don’t see girls who look regular I’m not booking. Hairstylists don’t like the girls who don’t do the socials and are just regular. They want super pretty, light skin/brown skin, and someone who is photogenic.
