@ios_dev_alb Apple awarding me a bounty for the bug I recently discovered in MacOS 18.5. 😎
@ios_dev_alb Dario on stage with Tim to announce Claude (X)code
@ios_dev_alb Native text editor in SwiftUI that supports text formats and styling.
@ios_dev_alb I’ll walk away from the jailbreaking community if I can customize how many icons are in columns and rows on my home screen
@ios_dev_alb As an iOS, Mac OS engineer and an X Apple Engineer, I obviously love the Apple ecosystem. I do think that they need to really lean in and step up their game with AI though I don’t mind them using open AI server integration. I just think it needs to be more baked and seamless.
@ios_dev_alb An Apple Intelligence framework that allows the creation of agents easily.
@ios_dev_alb Xcode with full 3rd-party LLM integration. Literally all I want. Cursor is fine, but I actually really like the overall UI/UX of Xcode
@ios_dev_alb MapKit is lacking several important features. For example showing ways on the map where lookaround is available.
@ios_dev_alb SwiftAssist with ability to configure other LLM support; Claude LLM access for free via apple developer account Improved extensibility of Xcode Lightning fast Xcode An iOSweb plugin that runs apps in browser plugins intended for non-Apple platform users. (A guy can dream)
@ios_dev_alb SwiftData improvements, like support for enum with custom types as associate values, better cloudKit integration, easier init with relationships. Full support for Markdown in Text, native RichText editor is very much needed. And faster previews.
Firstly, fixes to all the small bugs we’ve been having with iOS18. Would love to see Apples take on the Mac notch with Dynamic Island features (probably not going to happen) Not interested in more AI features to be honest (although it is useful sometimes). Besides that, looking forward to the new rumored design scheme. Skeuomorphic here we come!
@ios_dev_alb A better Xcode. A helpful code assistant and previews that actually work reliably. (Maybe I’m asking for too much 😅)
@ios_dev_alb open source apple docs for use with MCP locally
@ios_dev_alb iOS version by year Like iOS 25.0 (2025), iOS 26.0 (2026)🤞
@ios_dev_alb Improve Scrollview performance with SwiftUI Lower macbook prices :p
@ios_dev_alb I only ask for CollectionView (reusable cell) like List but support horizontal scrolling LazyHStack, LazyVGrid, LazyHGrid are useless
@ios_dev_alb SwiftUI getting open sourced but that won’t happen I guess 🥲
@ios_dev_alb Tbh i am not excited about features but i am excited about to meet so many apple engineers again as so many of them are friends
@ios_dev_alb Swift Playground 5, with a real Assets manager, String Catalog and Swift Testing. That should be a start.
@ios_dev_alb I would like a Oled display, the same Display on my iPad, on my Laptop.
@ios_dev_alb Smooth vertical resizing of rows in Forms / grouped lists
@ios_dev_alb As a developer a „sideview“ that looks and feels like Apple Maps sideview on iPad and on iPhone.
@ios_dev_alb CoreData viewer/editor for Simulator/Preview
