Intelligent people/groups become unattractive. So many reasons n correlations. Young, light headed, innocent people r easy to manipulate and hence attractive. Obviously there's other things in the equation, but this is a main factor.

The diff bet narrow n general intelligence could only be like one particular/specific focus vs broad/multi-modal focus. This warrants that do not call processes THAT DO NOT CREATE NOVELTY PRIMARILY as intelligence - for eg. Calculators,computers, Transformers, backpropogation etc
