I don't code outside of work. I don't study coding outside of work. I am perfectly fine with my career moving at a normal pace. I am happy for anyone who becomes a senior in 2 years, but that's not what I'm after. I'm after balance, building community and not burning out.

This tweet popped up today after my class discussed how tech doesn't always take into consideration diversity in race and culture. Equity and equality need to be at the forefront of conversations we have around our user bases. We have an ethical obligation to do better.
