I mean help me understand then. From my perspective this isn't a bad thing: it's an OPTIONAL feature. Only 4% of uber drivers are women (FOR A REASON) so it's not like it's going to make it hard for men to find drivers. If some women would feel more comfy only driving women passengers or vice versa, genuinely what is wrong with that? If women are willing to wait longer for drivers who are women that's their prerogative. Why are men butthurt about that? tldr; - it makes safety a priority. There is a genuine safety issue when it comes to women traveling alone or intoxicated, especially. - its OPTIONAL - it doesn't affect anything for men any "unfairness" is pretty surface-level here imo
