Attempting to bring two older consumer grade laptops back in to commission. Quite painful. A real shame as there is physically very little wrong with the devices. It's sadly looking like they're just too underpowered to run Windows now. Linux may be their saviour... #nerd

Completed the first heritage hike with the little one this morning. We followed the path of an old railway line from the nearby village of Rainford back towards St Helens. The linear park section was definitely the most enjoyable. A true gem. #heritage
