Hear me out, has anyone considered separating the car centric indoor arena from the larger car centric outdoor stadiums and building a new arena somewhere else, that is more transit acessible?
Somewhere like Market East?

Some Market East inspiration for the @sixers and @comcast. Honestly, take some streets off the street grid, which was originally intended for people, not cars.

I’m hopeful that one day government will be effective at the basic things, such as ticketing and heavily fining anyone driving with a two month expired temporary license plate
I’ve driven to MD the last two weeks for work. Passing through DE, it always stuns me how overbuilt the interchanges are for 95/896 @ Newark and the 95/Rt 1 @ Christiana.
Hundreds of millions spent on highway ramps and practically nothing spent on public transit in DE.
If your city is more worried about developers actually making money than about renters actually getting housing, then you're not going to build a lot of housing.

Of his 13 pro’s to living in NYC, I’d say Philly has 8 of them (I gave a half point to a few). For the 5/13 points where Philly falls short, these are entirely fixable (schools, stronger business community, etc).
To be better, you have to change the status quo.

“Greedy” real estate developers take buildings like this, invest capital to improve them and the neighborhood, create value and increase tax revenue, but still get unlimited hate because they profited on the risk no one else was willing to take.

Carmel, IN replaced 120 stop lights with roundabouts and this is the result:
🚨 90% drop in fatal crashes
🚨 40% drop in total crashes
🚨 $21.6 million saved in long-term maintenance
(remember, crashes also have a cost, even if it's rarely calculated engineering projects)
Top speed in a bike lane for an ebike should not be allowed to go any higher than what someone can do manually.
Eventually we'll need to have seperate bike lanes and ebike/moped lanes. Baby steps.

A planned arena 30 miles from downtown Atlanta. This would be like WFC being in Trenton, Exton, Vineland, Wilmington etc.
Truist Park being in the KOP of Atlanta is already bad enough.

View of the recently formed Spring Garden Canyon from The Quincy roof deck earlier this evening.
Sprinkle more 300+ unit apartments along this cooridor, add in the can't-come-soon-enough Spring Garden Connector and this slice of the city will have its own gravity.
