I’ve driven to MD the last two weeks for work. Passing through DE, it always stuns me how overbuilt the interchanges are for 95/896 @ Newark and the 95/Rt 1 @ Christiana. Hundreds of millions spent on highway ramps and practically nothing spent on public transit in DE.

Of his 13 pro’s to living in NYC, I’d say Philly has 8 of them (I gave a half point to a few). For the 5/13 points where Philly falls short, these are entirely fixable (schools, stronger business community, etc). To be better, you have to change the status quo.

Top speed in a bike lane for an ebike should not be allowed to go any higher than what someone can do manually. Eventually we'll need to have seperate bike lanes and ebike/moped lanes. Baby steps.

A planned arena 30 miles from downtown Atlanta. This would be like WFC being in Trenton, Exton, Vineland, Wilmington etc. Truist Park being in the KOP of Atlanta is already bad enough.

View of the recently formed Spring Garden Canyon from The Quincy roof deck earlier this evening. Sprinkle more 300+ unit apartments along this cooridor, add in the can't-come-soon-enough Spring Garden Connector and this slice of the city will have its own gravity.
