I went to see The Good Dinosaur a few months after my premie son was born and cried repeatedly. My husband thought I was a little looney. Thanks Mary Laura Philpott for sharing. As I read Bomb Shelter I have a lot of hey I can relate moments! @MaryLauraPh

6yr old- some of my friends try to get out of hard things by going to the bathroom. Like if there is a quiz they ask to go to the bathroom.

Lost my dad 2 years ago today. In dealing with his long illness and death, I learned to care for others more. Everyone has something more going on than their job, & sometimes that “more” involves hardship & pain. I honor my dad by remembering that.
