How #Java 10 will CHANGE the Way You Code @overopshq #JDK10 blog.takipi.com/how-java-10-wi…
@java @overopshq One of the strength of Java (since early versions) is its strong typization. IMHO the introduction of a generic "var" may be a bad idea.
@java @overopshq Wow, I can't believe the negative comments re. Java's forthcoming type inference. It reminds how we tend to be afraid of change - which is probably why most of us stay with Java rather than moving to another JVM language.
@java @overopshq That's make easy to coding. Because u don't need to know where u use what!!! Well Java 10 becoming more powerful and easy coding.
@java @overopshq The lots of uninformed replies are the worst 😱 like really uninformed
@java @overopshq type inference without its surrounding context (the target type) is simply beautiful
@java @overopshq No, thanks. Type inference makes code harder to read and understand.
@java @overopshq Please don't, it's not good idea might And people will still struggle to figure out what data type is retrieved in var.
@java @overopshq Now how will i differentiate Java and JavaScript?
@java @overopshq That Will be aweome. Coding at its best
@java @overopshq I don't appreciate that. Java should never compare it self with javascript. Var can cause confusion reading others code.
@java @overopshq Glad to see this happening. Less boilerplate and less keystrokes repeating something I've already said :P
@java @overopshq Many developers don’t get it. You could talk about type inference and how Java 10 will keep being strongly typed to prevent #HysteriaOverflowException
@java @overopshq Anything to stay relevant or progressive? Considering the current owner, I’m more cynical.
@java @overopshq Now dart is going in opposite direction! So sad!
@java @overopshq How about nooooo, or at least let it be val.
@java @LuisF11_ @overopshq Type Inference. In C# since C# 3.0 (2007). 😪
@java @overopshq Goood.... old-schoolers will perish in COBOL neverland and new-comers will convert to #kotlin when realize that #java can't fly as any dinozaur
@java @overopshq Make javascript a mainstream JVM programming language.
